1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. I was comissioned to create a set of images for our up coming church directory. This was the one we shot for baptism. Paige was baptised by our good friend Pastor Mark in June. So she wasn't re-baptised for this image.

I like how Paige and Pastor John are looking at each other.

I boosted the colors and contrast on this image. It was also processed to look like a Velvia slide film photograph. Velvia has a limited gamut (range of colors between white and black). But it is so widely used by professional photographers. We (the public) expect nature to look like this. When it (an image) doesn't we don't think it is real.

I'm still working out how my new camera works. I dropped Riley off at pre-school and took a few pictures. I processed this image with a software tool from DxO software. It does a great job.
